Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer will not print purple; rather purple comes out blue. This is a new issue for me on this printer.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M476dw.

I'm printing on "everyday" paper from PowerPoint, which I've done many times successfully in the past.

Purple graphic elements (lines, for example) and purple in photos both turn out blue. So this is not related to a photograph issue. Again, this has not been a problem before.

I've cleaned the device and run a color test, which turned out fine.

I've tried testing the various "color" options, including default, "...Adobe", and "...Photo sRGB", but all have the same result.

The cartridges are all fairly new.

Suggestions to address this would be appreciated.

Can you post the print quality page from the printer. Anything change recently, new cartridges, software updates? Make sure your driver and firmware are up to date.

Hi Repairatrooper, thank-you for your reply. Can you please tell me how to add an attachment to my text box?

Thank-you,

Hi Repairatrooper (or anyone else who can help),

Please find attached pictures (JPEG's) of my 4-page PDF file that illustrates and further describes my current issue. In short: purple comes out as blue on two HP laserjet printers; however, purple comes out as purple on Epson and Canon printers that I have tested, using essentially the same starting JPEG. I would purple to come out as purple on my HP printer(s).

regards,

Stan D.
