Our office has a Color Laser Jet Pro MFPM477fdw, and it has just suddenly stopped printing png files, primarily screenshots. We have not had this issue previously, please let me know the process to fix. Thanks.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print PNG files.
I’d love to help!
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.
- What happens when you try printing the PNG files? (Any error message)
- Are you using any application or software to print these PNG files?
- Are you having issue printing only PNG files?
- Are you able to print other documents?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
I recommend you to try opening the PNG file in different applications (Like MS paint) and check it you are able to print the files.
Let me know how it works and you have a good day ahead.

Hello, the PNG files that we print are primarily from screenshots. It is opened through preview (Mac), when sent to the printer it gives a warnign stating corupt file. There is a workaround where if we convert the screenshot (PNG) to a JPEG file, it then prints normaly. Again, this just rcently started up this way, not sure why.
There has been no software/harware updates /changes. We are able to print other documents, it is only with PNG files (screenshots).
Thanks

In the Printers Preference menu
- submenu Document Options
- - submenu Print features
I changed the setting for Graphics Mode, from Vector to Raster.
I also enabled "Print Optimizations"
I made these changes on my windows computer and printed a png without issue. After doing this I was also able to print from my Mac without making any changes on the second computer. Hope this helps.
