Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The printer has stopped printing from tray 2. Its says load tray 1 which is the dropdown one.it will work if I go tio the screen and select ok to use other media. i have tried selecting the tray in the printer options on the screen page and also have set in setttings on  my computer. does anyone have any idaes how to solve this

You likely have a paper tray confrlict between your PC, Apps and the printer paper tray settings.

 

Start by printing off a configuration page and reviewing the Paper Size and Paper Type for the trays.

Next, cross referance this information with what you can find in the Printers and Scanners > Manage > Printing Preferances area

Next cross  referance the same information with the print dialog box (File > Print ? ) and the application you are printing from

 

Once you find the incorrect setting and correct it the printer will know how to proceed and print jobs from tray 2 again.
