Printing A4 photo from iPhone, using hp app. Only half of photo is printed.

I’m trying to print A4 photos from my iPhone using the HP app but can not get the photo to fill the page. Sometimes only half of the photo is printed

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Which app are you using?

Try updating the phone and the App and try to print.

Update the firmware for the printer using this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-photo-6200-all-in-one-printer-series/9073045/model/1731...

Restart the printer.

If the copy is working fine, you can try to use HP Smart App to Print, scan, and copy

Thanks for the advice. I’ve actually run out of ink and I’m waiting for new cartridges to be delivered. As soon as I receive them I’ll post an update!

Ok, ink has arrived! I followed the steps you recommended and it improved slightly but ...

The first 1-2 inches of the paper is blank and the last 1-2 inches of the photo is missing. 

So I thought maybe the paper is the problem and I’ve tried to print the same photo on standard paper and it comes out perfect! 

The paper i was using is 260g/m2 so maybe this is too heavy for the printer?

I’ll experiment with paper and see how it goes.

Try with different paper type.
