Hi,

My situation is that :

Whe have 2 offices locations with 2 diferents subnetwork.

Virtual RDS Server are on office #1 and Printer are on Office #2.

Customer from Office #2, has the printer directly connected by usb has his computer.

It´s works fine when we print from this computer.

He connect to the  server  by By remote Descktop Service and try to print to the same printer (that was link by RDS)

But Nothing Print.

I have move the printer and Connected Directly to the host server (Windows 2012 R2 x64)

I try to configure on this server first and after on the RDS Server.

Server has detected like a Windows 8 Computer on HP Driver website, I have try to Select and install driver for windows srv 2012 that has available on the list. But when instalation it done, I can't print. Test file stay block on spooler.

I actualy trying to instal the Server 2008 Driver.

I have read somewer that this printer is not compatible with Printing by link to RDS, it´s true ?

Do you have a ide how i can make that working ?

Thank you for your hepl.

Hi @Schoonheyt

RDP printing is supported for select pritners only, usually higher end Laserjet models who support PCL or PostScreipt printing...

Asuch a take is too intensive for a lower end laserjet which uses a PSLMS driver, a such consume too much system resources to wok in such connection...

Your printer does not support Citrix connection, Terminal Services, or an RDP connection as described, as listed withint eh following document:

http://www.hp.com/go/citrix

You cannot make it work with such PCLM based print driver which your printer supports, a such require a device who support the PCL XL or PostScript print language..
