We have this printer on a simple workgroup network, connected via a network cable and switch it prints ok from all PCs from initial swich on of the printer. After an undesignated time when you try to print again somtimes it fails and the only way to get it to print is a switch off/on of the printer then all is fine for a time then it does it again.

The firmware is downloadable from the support page for the machine on hp.com if there is a new version.
If it still does not wake up then there might be a Formatter problem which would require repair or replacement of the machine.
You can also contact HP tech support directly through the support page for the machine and if your machine is in warranty they can resolve the issue.
If my post resolves your issue please click the accepted as solution button under it.
