Hello
I have a HP LaserJet 4050 with JetDirect, which is connected to the WLAN router AVM Fritz!Box 7490 via LAN.
The WLAN router AVM Fritz!Box 7490 is connected via WLAN to the smartphone J3 2017, SM-J330F_DS with operating system Android V 7.x Nougat.
Question:
Can I print from my J3 smartphone via WLAN -> WLAN router AVM Fritz!Box 7490 -> LAN -> JetDirect on the HP LaserJet 4050?
Thank you in advance to everyone who answers me.
Many greetings Vermieterheini1

Hi @Vermieterheini1,
The HP Laserjet 4050 does not support mobile printing, you may find any supported printer for a such listed below:
https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c03722645
You may try the 3rd party PrinterShare app which seems to support your printer:
http://printershare.com/help-mobile-supported.sdf?device=android&group=HP
Hope that may help,
Shlomi

Hello ShlomiL,
thank you for your very quick reply.
I will try the 3rd party PrinterShare app. But i can start 14 days in the future.
The HP LaserJet 4050 has no WLAN, only a inserted and very simple LAN interface card. JetDirect 10/100Base-TX print server card (EIO-Card), part number J3113A.
The JetDirect is connected to the WLAN router with a LAN cable.
(For printing with HP 4050 on all notebooks a printer driver must local be installed.)
I think that the printer driver of the Android version 7.x nougat operating system on the smartphone must establish a WLAN connection exclusively with the WLAN router.
The WLAN router says, that there is a printer with the static IP 192.168.178.24 within the local area network.
