I am trying to print a spreadsheet on legal paper.  It looks fine before I print it but when it prints it cuts off the left side of the spreadsheet.

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

Adjusting the print settings may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:

1.) Open the document you want to print, click File, click Print, and then click Show Details, if necessary.

2.) Click the unnamed print options menu and select Paper Handling

3.) Check the box"Scale to fit paper size". Click Destination Paper Size and select US Legal.

4.) Click Print.

Once the print job is complete, these settings will be set as default for future print jobs until you select a new preset or change settings.

You can also save your settings for future print jobs, click the Presets menu, and then select Save Current Settings as Preset.

Let me know how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Is it the same solution for an Apple computer?

Yes, the above solution is for an Apple's computer. Let me know if you are able to locate and adjust the Paper Handling settings.
