Printout comes out way too big for page

I scanned a text document, then opened it on my computer as I usually do, which is with Windows Live Photo Gallery. (I know it's old but I prefer it over newer stuff I've tried.) I hit the Print button, but when I try printing it, it comes out way too big for the letter-sized page. I get maybe 1/4 of the document on it, enlarged ridiculously, and I can't figure out how to make it go back to normal. I never used to have this problem, so something must have gotten mis-set accidentally.

Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

This seems like an application-specific issue. What happens if you try using a different application to open the scanned document and print it?
