What method do I select (the process) for connecting the printer to my computer, but then also take advantage of being able to print wireless from an iPad in another romm?

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I would suggest connecting the printer to your home WiFi so that you can print from all the devices. The easiest way to connect the printer to your home WiFi is by running a wireless setup wizard on the printer. Here is how to do it:

1.) From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Wireless icon .

2.) Touch the Setup icon .

3.) Touch Wireless Settings, and then touch Wireless Setup Wizard. Follow the onscreen instruction to complete the setup.

Once the printer is connected to your home WiFi, download and install the printer software and driver on your Windows 10 PC from here. You may use AirPrint to print from your iPad.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sean,

Thanks for your response.

I followed steps #1 & #2, but step #3, wireless set-up, is not an option from which I may select.

The options on the Settings screen come up as: Ethernet Setting, Wireless Settings, Print Reports, Restore Network Settings, or Reset 802.1X Security.

Guidance?

You are welcome!

Once you click the  Setup icon . Select Wireless Settings, then select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the onscreen instructions. Please refer to step 2 from this document.
