I am trying to find the list of compatible printers for redirection printing.
I have people on the field that use RDP to our application server (Win 2008 Server R2) and print back using redirect port to the local printer. I read an article on the the HP website and a link was mention. Now that article has been taken down, I can't reference it anymore. Does anyone have a list of compatible printers for Redirection printing via RDP?
I have a few HP LaserJet Pro M102w that stop printing after migrates to Windows 10 Pro-64bit. I know the LaserJet Pro M102w is old and has been discontinue. But I have tried all the drivers I have and the ones that I can download from HP and it's not working anymore.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best.

Hi,
Generally RDP printing redirection is supported on PCL 5 or PCL XL pritners which are more advanced, not on limited Host-Based or PCLmS printer drivers which use local PC resources and therefore will not work well on RDP, the M102w is a PLCmS printer and therefore will fail to print on such envoirnment.
The key for a printer to work on such envoirnment would be its print language and resource usage, the M203 or M204 as example support a such and will work on such configuration, not the M102 printer..
You may find the following article as a reference, a printer supported for Citrix envoirnment should work well on RDP as well:
