Can only print PDF and JPG-documents

Good day!
 

I have exactly the same problem.
I bought a HP OfficeJet 6970 ([edit], Windows 10x64) printer, installed everything according to the instructions.
But the printer prints only documents in PDF format and in graphic format.
Attempting to print documents from MS Word or other programs does not give results. The task appears in the print queue and immediately runs out as completed.

I completed all the instructions you gave on this page, but the problem did not go away.

How to solve this problem?

Thanks for your reply.
I tried to install the standard Windows driver, but it did not work.
I installed the standard drivers through the wifi and through the connection usb, but the result is also not.
Moreover, if I had previously worked with a print from an acrobat reader, now the printing process is underway, but at the end the message "Printing a document is not possible. No pages to print are displayed."
If I try to print a test page, a message appears: "The test page was printed incorrectly. The parameter was set incorrectly."

Are there any other ways to solve my problem?

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

But what you propose I have done for a long time and several times. There is still no effect from these actions.

Now I have to print any documents to PDF, then convert the received document into separate files in the format of JPG and only then send the received files to print.

I am disappointed that I cannot use such a good printer as the company originally promised me.

But its presence does not solve the problem of printing through other programs, for example through the programs of MS Office

Is it only from the Microsoft Office programs, you aren't able to print?

I can not print from any program.
Printing is only if the file is printed in any graphic format.
