I have an HP 6978 and cannot figure how to print in draft mode. I tried the above printer reset with no luck. Anymore idea's??

As I understand, you wish to print in draft mode.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

 

Was it working before?

Did you make any changes?

Draft Mode is printing in a low resolution which typicallt uses less ink.

 

The document @Flower_Bud referenced is for printing using Black Ink only which saves color ink usage, but is not the same as Draft Mode.
