Rear Output Bin

Hi all,

i'm looking forward to replace to HP printer model at my job

2055 & 3015.

The situation is that i need a printer that can output the paper from the back (rear output bin) so the paper can fall in a box.

I contacted HP sales and they don't want to help me.. " We don't support this feature on any of our device" they said.

I suspect that the m501dn and the m607dn can do it but i can't be sure.

Can someone recommend a model that they are sure can print to the back (rear output bin).

Also we only need to print and a tray that can hold more than 250 sheets

Hi EtienneHB,

Both these two models do not support this feature that you want.

As far as I am aware the only closest to what you are after is the M630, which will work the way you like (but instead of rear, the output will be on the left side) after removing the output tray.

Do you mean not supported "Hp does not support the rear output" or they litterally can't print by the rear door ?

i need something compact like the 3015 (W, D, H, 448 x 412 x 316 mm).

I need to place them in a restricted space where the sheet need to fall in a box (So the drivers can pickup their transport document)

They litterally can not print by the rear door. A warning message will come up saying close rear door.

Apart from P3015s and M525s, the M604-M605-M606 models have this feature as well.

Seem's like those printer are not available in Canada 

Do you know if the M506dn / M501dn or M553dn can do the rear output ?

No, these ones do not have this feature.
