Hello
This is my first post here and i need help quick
My HP color laserjet m177fw printer has this issue in which the back door pops open as soon as the printer is initializing and when I close it, it re-initializes again and the door pops open once more & doesn't close again till I apply pressure to it while the device is unplugged.
I have tried to seal the door with tape and the printer worked fine but I just need my printer to work the way it is supposed to without sticking it like a broken jar.
Note:- I found a piece of plastic on the floor near the printer and I assume that it may be related to it (I'll be sure to attach an image for it)
Prethanks for your support

Hello, I found this very helpful today, I opened the back door of the printer to fish out a jammed paper. A white coloured piece plastic flew out , couldn't figure out where it came from or how to put it back in the right place and close the back door well, I zoomed on the picture you posted and got the solution. Thanks.
