Good Day
Have a HP MFP M277DW which has a issue I've never seen before
The print output includes a picture of a bug to the right of the page repeating every 1"
Most likely a bug (think it may be a silverfish) got into the printer and was stuck to something.
I've checked he toner toner cartridges and they look to be clean.
I think its most likely stuck to the fuser; but want a second option as its a nasty tear down to get to the fuser.
Thanks for any replies
Paul
PS. The printer is out of warranty I believe (about 2 years old)

Hi! @PrinterGoBoom, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
Does the issue persist when you make a copy from the printer?
Have you tried printing from a different application? Does the issue persist?
Have you tried checking with a different toner cartridge?
It certainly sounds like a hardware issue with the printer. However, try the steps recommended below and check if it helps.
Follow these steps to print a cleaning page:
From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch Setup (
).
Touch Service, and then touch Cleaning Page.
Load plain, white paper when you are prompted.
Touch OK to begin the cleaning process.
Try to print again to see if the issue is resolved

Take a flashlight and look inside the toner through that little slot in the top. That is where the laser beam shines down to charge the drum. You may be able to see it. the 1" rotation means it must be coming from something with a diameter of less than 1/2". It could be something stuck or bad with the charge roller inside the toner. Changing the toner should clear it up. And, it could actually have been caused by a bug getting squashed inside the toner. While working on printers, I have found everything from "stink bugs" to small snakes (for living things) and with inorganic things, everything from an M&M to a lost stone from an engagement ring.
