Product: Lazerjet Pro M477fdw
My fuser roller is damaged. Appears the outer smooth skin of the roller has melted near one end. It is leaving repeated smudges on printouts. Can the roller be replaced rather than to whole fuser assembly?

Don't know if it helps or not.
There're videos on YouTube but not the same type as M477 (nor M452) but just M425 M401 maybe they can give you a hint of how to get it done.
Good luck.
