Hey.
I've just bought a Laserjet Pro M277dw printer to use at home. Most functions are now up and running. But when I tried to config "scan to email" I was prompted a password. Same thing happens when I try to access Settings. The only password I've set was when I was turning off/disable fax settings. Now that password aint working....(password was only 8 digits long)
How can I reset/change the admin password on my printer?
Regards
Jonas

I understand that your LaserJet Pro MFP M277 dw Printer has an admin password on it and you would like to remove it. I can help you with that.
I am going to send you a private message with the directions on how to perform a factory reset on that printer. You should see it arrive shortly.

If the reset I provided went through properly then the printer is having an issue and would need to be replaced. You can contact HP support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom.
I hope you get everything sorted out and I hope you have a great day!
