@MaybeMichael2

I suggest you reset the printer back to defaults through the EWS Page

Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the printer and network settings to the factory defaults

- Print a configuration page to determine the IP address or host name. i. Press and hold the Resume/Cancel button until the Ready light begins blinking. ii. Release the Resume/Cancel button.

- Open a web browser, and in the address line, type the IP address or host name exactly as it displays on the printer configuration page. Press the Enter key on the computer keyboard. The EWS opens.

- Go to the Service tab. -

-  In the Restore Defaults area, click the Restore defaults button. The printer automatically restarts.

Next connect your printer back to your iOS and also ensure you check the following details

- Ensure the printer and the iOS are connected to the same wireless network.
-Note:- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. Do not connect it to 5 GHz Network incase your Router supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, then the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

Please check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'. This is very crucial

Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.

Thank you and have a great day 😊

@tmholley,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.

  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • Are you getting any error when you try connecting the printer to your network?
  • What is the exact issue you are facing?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Look forward to hearing from you and you have a great day!

Take care.

Cheers!
