I am trying to reset to factory defaults a HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw. I am trying to connect to wifi and also change settings to default to double-sided.
I do not remember what the old password is and I cannot connect to wifi. So the directions I have read so far have not worked. Pressing the lower left and or right corner while turning back on, do not have any impact/change
Thank you in advance

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
How was the printer connected before?
Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the product and network settings to the factory defaults. It will not reset the page count, tray size, or language.
To restore the product to the factory-default settings, follow these steps.
1. On the product control panel, press or touch the Setup button.
2. Open the Service menu.
3. Select the Restore Defaults option, and then press or touch the OK button.
The product automatically restarts.
If you do not remember your password you can connect the printer using the USB cable and then click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m225-series/6778491/model/6778496/document/... for Changing from a USB to a Wireless Connection.
Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m225-series/6778491/model/6778496/document/... for the Print Settings.
Keep me posted, how it goes!
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Have a great day!
Cheers:)

How was the printer connected before?
Wifi, but I do not know what my old password was when I last used the printer.
When I follow these directions...Instead of #3 to select the Restore Defaults, I get asked for a Password.
To restore the product to the factory-default settings, follow these steps.
1. On the product control panel, press or touch the Setup button.
2. Open the Service menu.
3. Select the Restore Defaults option, and then press or touch the OK button.
