LaserJet Pro M277dw
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Hello. I need to set CMYK-only driver mode for LaserJet Pro M277dw in macOS Sierra. The problem here: ColorMunki Design software thinks it is an RGB only printer and calibrate it in RGB mode. I need to calibrate it in CMYK. Unfortunately, ColorMunki Design is an end-of-life product, so I doubt X-Rite will fix any bugs (they not always fixed it even while it was on-support). So, I want to ask you about alternative method to make it works together to calibrate CMYK printing mode. Maybe your techs can call X-Rite yourself? They will listen to you better than to any end-user customer, of course.

X-Rite support was so kind and professional so I now know how they detect CMYK/RGB kind of printer. It is "DefaultColorSpace" parameter in printer's PPD file. I changed it from RGB to CMYK and the profiling software correctly generates ICC profile. The problem solved.
