LaserJet 1022

Hi HP Community!

 

I have a LaserJet 1022 connected via USB to my Windows 10 desktop and it works fine.

I set up a homegroup -- making sure to share printer -- for my son's laptop, however the laptop is not detecting the LaserJet 1022. Filesharing is working fine in both directions, between laptop + desktop.

 

It used to work a few months ago but stopped working (we've been doing an email-the-file-needing-to-be-printed workaround). 

 

Any ideas?  Thank you for your help!

Figured out a different way to connect, which was to manually specify the path: \\computer name\printer name
