Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

After a time of no usage, the ready light starts a slow blinking. Blinks about every three seconds.

Is this going into standby mode?

My instructions don't speak to this issue.

Yes that is an indication the printer is in sleep mode.

I just bought the M452nw ... fine printer but the ready light blinks every 3 seconds.  Exceedingly annoying!  How do i shut this off.  love the printer, hate the light.  Please help.

Hi,

If its anything like my m252dw - you wont be able to disable the blinking light.

I just stuck some white blu-tack over the LED (with just a bit showing so I can still see if it is switched on or in sleep mode)

Others have used masking tape to dim/dull the flashing light.
