Yes, I ended up calling HP customer service who got it working for me. But the next update from Microsoft created the same problem. In short, I'm selling my printer to someone with Windows 7 because every new update will kill the printer. So much for having a choice in the matter thanks to MS!

It took a couple trials, but when I chose "Extract here" from the 7zip program, and ran HP SetUp, everything worked and I have a loaded printer.  Now what of the files can I delete from the Download folder?  Do I need to keep all that was extracted in there?
