My Color LaserJet printer now refuses to print a page that has an embedded graphic on the page. If that page is say third in a set of pages, it will print the first two pages, then stop and not print page 3 or any pages thereafter. I've updated the print driver (to that posted in August of this year). I've deleted the printer from my system (Macbook Pro running Mojave), Then added - neither helped. I can print the graphic from it's application, but when pasted into another document (Pages) it does not print as described above.
Also, I cannot print at all from some applications (e.g., Agenda - though I can print that same file from iOS devices).
Conv erting the file to a PDF does not help - still won't print.... Not sure what else to try... any help most appreciated...

@YungUn, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Have you tried printing any PDF or Word documents that have graphics and check if the issue persists?
Update the adobe and word application if required and then try printing.
Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Also, check for any software updates on MAC
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Happy to have the suggestions:
1) converting to PDF doesn't solve problem. I don't use Word (Pages instead) so that's not a solution.
2)I have updated the printer firmware - not a solution.
3) I am holding off of updating to Catalina as some mission critical software, though 64-bit architecture, is not yet out of beta.
Also, new information - I use a cross platform program (highly recommended), Agenda. If I print a file from that on my MacBook Pro, only the first page of a mutlipage document will print. IF, I print off of my iPad Pro then it prints properly all the pages of the document...

Is the issue only with printing one photo? Have you tried printing other items with graphics and check if the issue persists?
Are you using parallel software like windows and macOS on a MAC?
I would suggest contacting the application developer for further assistance.
Keep me posted.

There are three problems with printing. These are described below.
1) I use Agenda (a Mac Program that also has an iOS version - files are synced so I can work in either platform and changes populate through). I can fully print to from the iOS platform (my iPad Pro) to the HP printer. On the Mac the same file will print the first page only - When I watch the print window I can see the file processing but as soon as the first page prints, the file in the print window disappears and printing stops). Exporting the file to a PDF does not fix the printing problem when printing from the Mac.
2) I do not use photos - in Pages, I paste graphics created in a Mac graphics program (called Graphics). I can print that graphic from inside the Graphic program. However, when pasted into Pages, then print the file, Pages can print any text pages upto the page that has that graphic in it - then it stops printing (that page and any subsequent pages whether text only or with Graphics). Converting the Pages file into a PDF does not solve the problem (same experience as described above).
3) some but not all emails that have graphics will print (e.g., boarding passes) but some will not (why some and not others I've no clue).
What I've done to date:
1) unplugged the printer for a few minutes then plugged in.
2) reinstalled the latest print driver.
3) made sure that in the print dialogue the page size is properly set (to US Letter).
4) the printer is set up as connected to a wifi network and both my MacBook Pro and iOS devices see it and (except for problems as described above) can print to the HP.
More suggestions would be most welcome.
I am not using parallel software (windoze).
Since the problem is not application specific I do not see how this would be a task for either developer to resolve. Something is triggering the HP printer to stop printing prematurely.
I am not - as yet - using Catalina.
I am using Mojave - the printer is a bit over one year old and this problem is a new one - about two or three weeks old.

I've already explored that option - as the option for direct support is payment but payment irrespective of achieving a solution (i.e., one pays, and what one gets is not a solution rather than solution and payment), I don't find that a useful route. thanks...
