Laserjet Enterprise M604
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

Recently I bought the stacker accesory for my M604 (F2G71A) but it seems not to work as expected.

I mean that actually it's working as another output bin, so it doesn't stacks anything.

I've updated both driver and firmware.

The driver detects there's a stacker installed, but the printer is not stacking the jobs (a way to identify different printed jobs).

Any idea on this?

Thanks in advance.

I believe you were confusing stacking and job offset.

As far as I can determine the stapler/stacker for the m604 does not support job offset.

Thanks for your answer SHThompson,

So a stacker accesory is just to increase output bin capacity? My fault, I thougth it would clasify the jobs someway (job offset maybe).

Is there another accesory to achieve that?

Thanks
