Hi @Reddy39
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand that your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4104dw Printer is not turning on. Let’s work through the power-related checks carefully to determine whether the issue is with the power source, power connection, or printer startup.
Troubleshooting the HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4104dw not turning on
Disconnect the power cord from the printer.
Unplug the other end of the power cord from the wall outlet.
Leave the printer disconnected for about 60 seconds.
While the printer is disconnected, check the power cord and connectors for any visible damage or loose connections.
Connect the printer directly to a working wall outlet. For this test, bypass any surge protector, power strip, extension cord, or UPS.
Make sure the power cord is firmly seated at the back of the printer and at the wall outlet.
Press the printer's Power button once and check whether:
- The control panel illuminates.
- You hear the printer beginning its startup sequence.
- Any lights briefly illuminate or flash.
If there is still no response, test the same wall outlet with another electrical device to confirm that the outlet is supplying power.
If possible, try another compatible HP power cord with the correct electrical specifications. Do not substitute a cord with incompatible specifications.
If the printer remains completely unresponsive
If the wall outlet works correctly and the HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4104dw still shows no lights, display activity, sounds, or other signs of power after the power reset and direct-wall connection, the symptoms may indicate that the printer requires hardware service.
If the printer does power on after these checks, reconnect any power accessories one at a time to help identify what interrupted the power supply.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
