Hi. I am printing on sticker paper, and I notice when I bend the page to cut it, sometimes the image gets damaged.  See the image below. The rectangle on the left shows the damaged paper, the one on the right what it should look like.

Someone advised me this might be the fuser needing service. I've looked around to find out a way to see if the fuser is damaged, but there doesn't seem to be a good do-it-yourself solution. (The printer is out of warranty.)

How should I proceed? I am specifically hoping for advice on references for fuser maintenance, self-repair (including products) or perhaps an official maintenance manual. Thanks.

Thanks!

Do you have the fuser temperature set properly for the paper you are using. If printing stickers I would suggest that you try setting it for labels when printing.

Oh, by setting the Paper Type? Huh. Lemme give that a try.
