Just setup my brand new printer (is a christmas present) trying to print and the message on the interactive screen is 'Tray 2 is overfilled'
I have tried pulling tray out. Cant see anything and It is not overfilled.
Please advise.
Thankyou in advance.

The printer thinks tray 2 is overfilled.
Printers detect paper levels with physical sensors. There is likely a tab somewhere on tray 2 that is stuck or broken in the Full/Overfilled position. Open the paper tray, search for the sensor, repair the sensor as needed.
If you are unable to resolve the problem on your own then call your brand new printer into HP for warranty support. HP can review the warranty options for you from there.
