Hello,
At the moment, I am engaged in a project in which I have to drive HP Laserjet M1136 MFP printer with USB commands using Arduino mega adk (USB Host controller). I have been attaching the text to be printed with USB command.
For example I have sent the following USB command: Data to be printed <ESC>& l 0 S
As a result, the printer is accepting the commands, but there is no response from the printer. So, I am requesting you for a suggestion on how to achieve this functionality.
Thank You.
Regards,
Vamshi

According to the spec sheets the 1136 uses host based printing which means it has not print language interpreter built in so likely you will not be able to print this way. You need to find a model that has a PCL interpreter built in, like an P2055 which is a print only device from the same era as the 1136
