HP OfficeJet Pro 8125e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I am unable to update firmware, alert saying no internet

I printed a page of three lines which took a very long time.  I tried an update again which failed. I have tried various solutions from your help pages.

The printer is connected on a network cable and is clearly visible on the network with an IP address. I am subscribed to ink package and I have not been advised that HP can not see the printer which is on all of the time.

I have solved the problem. I removed network cable and connected printer with USB.

Firmware updated in minutes, from download on my computer.

I printed a test page which printed immediately. I then connected the network cable, removed USB, and again printed immediately. I verified that firmware was latest version.

Thank you for response. I was updating because I could see the system was trying to update.

Hello
Thank you very much for your cooperation and support.
We are providing you with a test solution. You can try replacing the driver with the HP DeskJet 5088 driver to improve the slow printing speed issue. The detailed operation steps are as follows:
First, click the link below to download the HP DeskJet 5088 driver installation package and extract the downloaded file to your local computer;
Driver download link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ5000/Full_Webpack-44.11.2778-DJ5000_Full_Webpac...
Open Devices and Printers on your computer, click Add a printer, and select The printer that I want isn't listed;
Then select Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings, choose the correct port corresponding to the printer in the port list, and click Next;
Select Have Disk, click Browse, find the previously extracted driver folder, select any file with the *.inf format in the folder, and follow the prompts to complete the driver installation.
Note: The driver replacement method provided this time is mainly used to improve the problem of slow printing speed of the printer. You can follow the steps to test it.
