M102W cannot connect to my new wireless network
I just moved homes and had to switch my ISP. But I cannot get my printer to connect to my wireless network with new settings. Following are the specifications I am using.
1. Network uses WPA/WPA2 with WPS enabled
2. OSX 10.13.2
When I previously installed this printer, it was as simple as downloading HP Easy Start and it was found with no issues. Now the printer is not discoverable. I have tried both HP easy start and the HP printer utility but with no luck.
I have also tried to switch on and off the wireless button on the printer and using the WPS button on my router but that has made no difference.

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP LaserJet Pro M102 Printer and are unable to connect it wirelessly to the new network. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
- Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
Please perform the steps as described in detail from this HP document. These steps help in fixing various wireless connectivity issues for HP printers in Mac OS.
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Let me know the results. Cheers! 🙂
