Hello,
A week or so ago printer stoped printing Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2016 documents. I'm also unable to print Wordpad and test page from printer settings panel, although test page can be printed when i use HP Print and scan doctor which can not find any issues. With Word an Excel I just get "0 documents pending for" and nothing happen. Powerpoint gives msg about problem and printing test page also fail. I have uploaded screenshot her https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1AcE5RZWOGSrQoQApU50fXa92lzaPLYTV?usp=sharing
On the other hand I can print JPG, PDF, notepad file and also anything from web browser (tested Firefox, Edge and Internet Explorer). No issues there.
I already tried to update driver, then remove it and reinstall it again. I have 2 other computers in network and other two work just fine. Well, I did have minor issue with settings on laptop - it changed paper format from A4 to letter and I had to change it back manualy, but now works just fine. Win 10 were recently updated to 1803 on all computers, so maybe that could be an issue.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Is the copy working fine?
Are you using genuine HP Toners?
If you are facing the same issue while making a copy it could be an issue with the ink cartridge.
I suggest you do a Hard Reset
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Thanks for the reply,
Update the firmware for the printer using this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-m280-m281-multifunction-printer-series/14...
Restart the printer.
I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and Install the drivers, follow the steps below:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Then, Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-color-laserjet-pro-m280-m281-multifunc...
To download the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M280nw Printer Full Software Solution.
Assign Manual IP to the printer:
1) Print a Network configuration page from the printer's control panel.
2) Look for IP address from the Network configuration page.
3) Open web browser - Chrome or IE or any other browser that you are using.
4) Type the IP address mentioned on Network configuration page into the browser's address bar or URL bar and press enter button.
5) Go to the Network tab.
6) Click on Networking from the left pane.
7) Then click on Network Address (IP).
😎 Click on Manual IP Address and go to suggest a Manual IP.
9) Scroll down the screen and select Manual DNS server.
10) Enter the Primary and secondary DNS server from the Network Configuration page into the Manual Preferred DNS server field.
11) Click on Apply.
Refer to the video link for step by step instructions - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCnYyq80V9g
Note: The video is for win 8 but steps are similar for other operating systems as well. You need to enter the IP address in the browser's URL or the address bar to access the printer page.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

I solved the problem. Issue was aLL ABOUT WIN temp folder. I had to solve some printer non related problems. In that order I made new temp folder, but looks like Printer didn't like that and for some reason Office documents didn't print. After opening printer properties security tab everything started to work again.

Run a Windows update on the computer and then install the driver and check if it works.
If the issue persists, create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10
Refer to this document: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-acc...
Install the driver and try to print.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Dear, I have tried windows update and even tried drivers updates for the printer, but did not get any solution .
Further, i have not tried making another user account.
my account has only admin access, and there is one more account for the guest.
