Product: HP LaserJet M102w and P1102w
Operating System: Chrome OS

What is the best way to update the printer firmware on networked HP M102w and P1102w printers in a Chromebook environment? I am using the HP Print for Chrome app to print on a private LAN, no cloud printing.

Hi,

You cannot update the firmware from Chrome OS, a firmware update utility is available for Windows PCs or Mac computers.

 

You would need to install and connect the printers to a computer with such OS to update its firmware.
