I have a HP Color LaserJet MFP M477fnw that is connected by WiFi to my MacPro laptop.  I have used the scan feature numerous times over the last 4 months to scan to either my ATT email account or my Google email account.  Today it will not scan because it says the username or password is incorrect.  But I do not see any way to find out where to locate the place it keeps my username or password.  

 

This seems to be a very common problem with HP printers, but I have not seen a simple solution on any of the posts.

 

Can you help?

When you configured the scan to email function it would have asked for the user name (email address) and password for your mail account. If you type in the IP address of the printer into the address bar of your browser it will take you to the embedded web server of the printer where you can make the required changes.
