How do we set up a wireless printer to print from a desktop computer? You might wonder why we bought the wireless one, but they all seemed to be wireless! Nevertheless, we downloaded the Smart Print app. It's just that we don't use WiFi and do our printing from the computer. Thank you.

You can use a USB port on the backside of a printer and a USB cable to connect printer and a computer. Run the setup on your computer and follow instructions. When the installation process asks how do you want to connect choose USB. Don't plug the USB cable before you are asked to by installation.
The USB cable is standard USB A to USB B cable and probably is not included in the box and needs to be purchased separately.
