Do you mean HP2100m and HP2100tn?  There is also a base HP2100 model.  These have all been discontinued but the tn model includes an HP Jetdirect network card.

This is an old printer. The 2100N is the base model 2100 with 2 paper trays (1 manual and 1 250 sheet paper cassette) and also came with a eio jet direct card for network connectivity.  The 2100TN is the same printer as above  with an added 250 sheet paper feeder which becomes tray 3. Since these are older printers sometimes the additional feeder disappears over time and/or the eio network card is removed.

Hi

Basis your query you wanted to know the difference between HP 2100n and HP 2100Tn, so to explain on this HP laserjet 2100 if the printer model whihc you can also refer as base engine, n and tn are the additional capabilities of the printer.

N- stands for Network, means HP laserjet 2100N is network enabled printer, you can take prints using LAN cable on network.

TN- stands for Tray and Network, means HP2100tn will support network capabilities plus it will have additiona input paper tray to support wide range of Media.

Apart from this if you talk about , speed, processing and other feature those all will remain same. Hope i am able to answer your queries.

Thanks & Regards

Kaps
