HP 4350dtn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just picked up a good HP LaerJet 4350dtn.  I have upgraded the memory in it.  However, I see there are two CF Flash Card memory slots within this printer, what is their purpose.  When doing some basic research it seems they are used to load special fonts etc...

If I simply install two empty 64gb CF cards in these slots would it improve the performance of the printer in any way?  Or do I need to load the cards with anything?

Nope. Forget about fonts on CF card. Some companies use them if they need to print special fonts.

There is nothing you can do with a CF card that will improve printers performance, maybe additional RAM will make a printer work better but nothing special if you compare it with the same printer without additional RAM.

Those slots are for CF cards that have special fonts and barcodes, installing empty CF cards will do nothing that will improve performance.

Thanks,

If I were to put fonts on this card would it improve the perforamnce of the printer.  I'm assuming there's a file system or special format that needs to be taken into account.
