When we copy from the class some lines/words are skewed on the right hand side but it's fine when we copy from putting the original through the document feeder.

I don't know what model of printer you are using but you will have to open the glass part of the machine and see why the scanner is going against the glass. The scanner might have unhook from its slide. On some scanners the is a little wheel running under the glass spacing the scanner height.Just check on both sides of the scanner and see if they look the same. This is definitely the problem.

Let me try and assist. This sounds to me like the scanner is not moving smoothly. If you use the ADF the scanner does not move the length of the glass.Scan using the glass and inspect with the eye if the scanner is moving smoothly.Maybe clean the glass from any dirt will also help..Hope this will solve your problem.

Thank you for your response.  I do see that the scanner slightly catches on the right hand side as it goes down the length of the glass.  I cleaned the glass but see that it still does it.  Any suggestions for this?
