hmmm. I am not really happy to reset my Windows, because this pc (laptop) I use, is the only one I have in my apartment, and I have no time resetting it, I use it whole day for schoolwork.

However, this is not a Windows problem, because i have also tried to print wirelessly with my Android tablet and also my Ipad, and they can also not connect to the printer, even when all devices are on the same wi-fi network.

However there is one thing i noticed, but i do not know if this is important, but i write it anyway. I have wi-fi extenders in my apartment, could they brake it? And i have two SSIDS running from the same router. One of my friends also have extenders in his large house and have zero problems, he also has an HP wifi printer.

Even if this would cause a problem then i cannot see how, because all the devices are connected to the 'Sondermarken_19A' network

Here is a pic, these are the two wi-fi networks I have in my apartment, they are from the same router. Sorry that it's in danish language. Both the wifi-networks you see on the picture are from the same router. All devices are connected to 'Sondermarken_19A' i do not see the reason to reset windows when other devices can't connect to the printer either.

Best Regards Math

Thanks for your reply.

I appreciate your patience and hard work. I have read your posts comprehensively and therefore suggest you to review this HP document and perform only those steps that have not been attempted yet.

In case the issue persists then try updating the firmware on the printer via this HP link.

NOTE: The printer must remain powered on during the firmware update and needs to be restarted once the firmware update is complete.

Once again try connecting the printer wirelessly. If the issue still persists then you may refer to my private message for the next course of action.

Hope this helps. Let me know what happens.

Good luck!

I am having the same problems after installing a new Netgear Router. I cannot get the HP Scan to work. I have tried everything that I have seen here and several hours have passed but NO luck. Any ideas? Thanks
