I just purchased an HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M277dw. Followed the directions, downloaded all the software, etc. The scanner works wirelessly, but the printer will not respond when I try to print wirelessly. The printer que reads "unabe to get printer status". I use an apple router (purchased a year ago). When I turn the printer WiFi off and test print ("Demo Page"), it prints just fine. Then, I turn the WiFi back on and press "Demo Print" from the printer's screen and an "Error 49" appears. When I open the HP Utility and try to "test print", there is no response. I've turned the printer and the laptop on and off several times as I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the printer of the "Printers & Scanners" system preferences window. Any ideas? KRUT

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw. I understand that you are getting printer connectivity issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well.
Reset the printer.
-
Make sure the printer is idle, not making any sounds, before continuing.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button
to turn it on.
Remove multiple printers from the printer list.
-
Search the Mac for Print, and then click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners in the list of results.
-
Find the printer names that match your printer from the list of devices.
Figure : Printers and Scanner window with multiple names of a printer in the list
-
If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button
at the bottom of the list. Leave one 'idle' printer in the list that matches your printer if available and use this printer as the Default printer.
-
Try printing again.
Reset the printing system.
-
Right-click (or Ctrl + click) the blank space in the Printers list, and then click Reset printing system....
Figure : Resetting the print system
-
Click Reset in the confirmation window.
-
Enter the administrator user name and password, and then click OK.
-
Wait until the printing system is reset and no devices show in the Printers list.
-
Add your printer to the list again as was done previously.
-
Try printing again.
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.
