HP Color LaserJet pro mfp M281 fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Today I set up this printer to use Wifi-Direct to print. (HP Color LaserJet pro mfp M281 fdw)

It all seemed to work fine on my laptop, and on two other phones as well.

Another laptop however somehow couldn't even see the Wifi-Direct network in the list of available networks.

The wifi connection of this laptop seems fine as it can connect to its usual internet connection without any problems.

I haven't been able to find anything online about this problem, so I am curious whether someone knows how I could even start troubleshooting this.

So basically the Wifi-Direct network is showing up everywhere except on this one Windows 10 laptop.

Thanks for you help

If the printer works on all other computers, your problem is the computer, not the printer. Make sure that all the drivers are up to date, make sure your Windows is up to date. You may also want to post on forum for laptops to see if anyone has any suggestions.
