HP laserJet M1132
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My Windows recognize my printer as a CD drive. I found solution:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Windows-Recognize-my-printer-as-cd-drive/td-p/482724...

but unfortunately it does not work. I downloaded mentioned software but when run it there is only unpacking stage and after that nothing happened.

Could you help me with the issue? How can I use my printer having Windows 10?

Hi,

Connect the USB to your computer and then follow the HP Smart Install Control Utility below to disable HP Smart Install.

As soon as you disable the feature unplug the USB and restart the printer

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL53553/Im-129228-1/LJM1130_M1210_SI_Utility.exe

Note: If the utility extracts but doesn't run manually launch the following executable:

C:\LJM1130_M1210_MFP_SI_Utility\SIUtility64

Next, download and install the latest HP Full Feature Software below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32629/Im-80811-7/LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution.exe

Note: if the installation extracts but doesn't run, right-click the Start icon and select Run, type %temp% and press OK.

Open the latest HP Installation folder which begins with 7z (e.g. 7z123ba) and double-click HpSetup.exe to start the installation.

Only connect the USB once the installation prompt to do so.
