On the back of my laser printer is a small foam roller which has become coated with yellow printer ink, which now shows up on my printed pages. Is there a way to clean this roller? How do I remove it to clean it? What is this part called in case I need to replace it?

That is transfer roller, you can clean it but it might be a temporary solution because a source of your problem might be yellow toner. You can use brush and vacuum cleaner for cleaning, do not use any kind of cleaning liquid. If you want to buy a new one the part number is RM2-6455-000CN.

Thank you so much for the help. I ordered a new roller and a new yellow cartridge. How do I get the old roller out?
