Setting Up Scan to Email on HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4303fdw
To set up and use Scan to Email features on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4303fdw printer, please follow these steps:

Before You Begin
Ensure that your printer is connected to an active network and you have administrative access to the printer and your email provider's SMTP server settings.

Steps to Set Up Scan to Email
Access the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS)

1.Obtain the printer's IP address:
On the Home screen of your printer's control panel, touch the top bar to display the IP address.
Open a web browser on your computer and enter the printer's IP address in the address bar to access the EWS.

Configure Email Settings in EWS

Go to the EWS home page and click on the Scan to Email section.

2.Under Outgoing Email Settings, configure your email server settings:

SMTP Server: e.g., smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: Use 587 for SMTP with TLS or 465 for SSL.
Authentication: If required by your email provider, enter the user name and password.
Create an Email Profile

3.In the Email Servers section, click on the Add icon to create an email profile and enter the necessary details:
Display Name and Email Address for sending emails.
Set a Security PIN if desired for added security.
Click Apply to save the configuration.

Configure Default Scan Settings (Optional)

You can set default scan and file options under the Scan to Email settings.

4.Test the Configuration

You have the option to test the email server configuration from the EWS to ensure everything is set up correctly.
Upon completion, your printer should be able to send scanned documents directly to an email address as an attachment. If you require additional help, please refer to the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301, 4302, 4303 - Set up and Scan to Email guide for detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
