LaserJet 4050
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently got a new win10 comp. and had a bear of a time setting the 4050 up as a network printer with win 7 comps. Finally got it working.  Today I tried to print a pg using the PCL6 driver. The pg had some dingbats, the Zapf dingbasts printed as courier, another dingbat printed correctly. When I print out the PCL font list from the menu, it shows ITC Zapf Dingbats in the list. However when I check printer properties, the font substitution table does NOT show the font.

If I print to PS, everything is fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The 4050 is long in the tooth and likely PCL5 would be your best choice for compatibility . If PS works why not just stick with that?

PCL5 processes a pg far quicker so I prefer it for everyday use.
