change DPI for scanning

Under setting are three resolution options: 75, 150, or 300 DPI. I need something scanned in 200 DPI. Is this possible or do I only have the three options? Thank you

Not sure, all scanners are different.  Assume you are using HP Scan, select  Flatbed and not the ADF and Everyday scan.  Now check your settings.

Thanks for the reply. I have a HP Color LaserJet M476. The options on the printer are only the 3 DPI choices. That did not change when I chose flatbed. Maybe there are more options under the printer's properties on my computer, but I'm not smart enough to figure it out if there are.

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"
