I am connecting an HP laserJet M452nw printer to a LInksys WRT54G router with no WPS button. I followed the instructions in the set up installation and conected the computer to the printer with the USB cable so the printer could access the wireless network information via the computer. The screen tells me the product is connected, then shows the percent of the process done, counting up to 99% over about 5 minutes. It hangs up there and then gives me a message that an install process took too long to execute and this is fatal error. I have run this about 4-5 times. I am not finding a alternative way to get the printer to connect to the wireless network. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
You may bypass the usb connection by temporary connecting the printer with an ethernet cable to your router.
From your computer select File Exporer, then select Netork.
Right click the listed printer and select View Printer Webpage.
Open the Network tab, then select Wireless setup wizard and follow the steps on screen to connect the printer to your wireless network, once you are done click Apply and follow the steps to confirm the settings were applied, not unplug the cable and the printer will be visible on your network.
You may now follow the installation by selecting Connect another device, then select the printer discovered in your network.
