macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hello, my friend gave me Laserjet CP2025 printer whose usb port is broken. 

 

I would like to know if anyone knows how to connect the printer to my mac using wifi connection.

Do you have the network version of this printer or USB only? If USB only you are out of luck unless you replace the formatter board in the printer

Hello,

If your printer is an HP Color LaserJet 2025dn, please connect it with an Ethernet cable.

Proceed as follows, to install your printer:

  1. Download and install the HP Printer Drivers v5.1 for OS X.

  2. On the Apple menu, click System Preferences.

  3. On the View menu, click Printers & Scanners.

  4. Click on the + sign to add the printer.

  5. In the Use field, scroll down the list to choose Select Software....

  6. In the search field type 2020, then select HP Color LaserJet CP2020 Series.

  7. Validate then try to print.
