does not print bottom of manual page number

I am using the HP Laserjet P1606dn printer.  I am endeavoring to print the HP  User Guide  for a brand new HP Officejet Pro 8620 printer.     The manual is in PDF format.   When viewing a page of the manual on the computer screen, the page number appears at the very bottom of the screen.  Unfortunately, when printing the manual on the HP Laserjet P1606dn printer, the page number is not printing.  I have tried using the SHRINK TO FIT feature of the Laserjet, but that does not print the page number.

Any advice on how to print the page number would be welcomed.   Aaron

I hope you enjoy your visit to the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with the page fitting. I will be glad to help you.

I look at the User Guide for the Officejet Pro 8620.  if I turn fit to page off, I lost the page number and a bit more. But with it on it was ok.

 You can try uninstalling the printer software and installing the latest HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver.

tHANK YOU FOR YOUR QUICK REPLY!   PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED.  I WAS TRYING TO PRINT THE USER GUIDE DIRECTLY FROM THE WEB SITE WHICH DID NOT PRINT PAGE NUMBER.    I DOWNLOADED THE MANUAL INTO THE COMPUTER'S MEMORY AND THEN PRINTED THE GUIDE FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.   THE PAGE NUMBER DID PRINT WHEN PRINTING FROM THE DOWNLOADED FILE.    WHY THIS WORKED I DO NOT KNOW, BUT IT WORKED.
